A further performance of Endless Forms Most Beautiful by Cheryl Frances-Hoad, a seven-song cycle for soprano and string quartet, setting texts on evolution and the environment. With Purcell Chaconne and Fantasias, Nicola LeFanu’s But Stars Remaining and Mozart’s ‘Dissonance’ Quartet.

Oxford Museum of Natural History with The Gildas Quartet
World Première of Cheryl Frances-Hoad’s Endless Forms Most Beautiful. A seven-song cycle for soprano and string quartet, setting texts on evolution and the environment. Funded by Arts Council England, the Ambache Charitable Trust and the Ralph Vaughan Williams Trust. The programme also included Henry Purcell’s Chaconne and Fantasias and Nicola LeFanu’s But Stars Remaining.
